Six Sunday--Always a Chance

Welcome back to another Six Sentence Sunday installment from Always a Chance, a story about Cara Reynolds and Will Jones. She's in PR and he's working with her to promote the Ultimate Sparring League. During a long weekend, Will suggests they pretend they're dating to fool his sister, who is also Cara's best friend.  Though she knows so many reasons she shouldn't...she's still debating the insanity of possibly saying yes.  We pick up with the beginning of Will's explanation for such a crazy suggestion.

“What did you have in mind?”

“Maley keeps going on and on about how closely you and I are working on this project? She keeps suggesting that we’re, you know, getting horizontal with each other.”
A heavy tension flooded her shoulders. She gave a tight nod, but she didn’t think he noticed her discomfort with the subject. Did he have to make it sound so far-fetched?

Happy Writing and Reading,Cherie

Aw, the poor girl. If he is the hero, he's going to have to do some fancy talking later to make up for all the insecurity he's sowing now.
