Six Sunday--Lost in New Falls

Six Sentence Sunday time again, and we're still in New Falls with screenwriter, Sara Delaney, and small-town sheriff, Quentin Taylor. Sara's laptop is still missing along with her ready-to-send screenplay-of-her-heart, and this week she has to break the bad news to her agent.

“Oh, Sara, please tell me you backed it up somewhere else.”

“Of course I did. It’s saved on my USB drive too.”

“Thank goodness. So get yourself to an available computer station and let’s make this deal.”

“Yeah, except the USB was still attached to the laptop when it was taken.”

Read more Six Sentence Sundays here, or sign up to participate next week. Hope you have an enjoyable Sunday!

Happy Writing!

Cherie

Cute and witty. I like it. They seem to have a quirky relationship.

Oh no! I would be so upset to lose my laptop with my work on it! Great snippet!

Cherie, you have to stop writing horror stories! (I think every writer who reads this is cringing inside--and running to do backups!)

Nice Six!

OMG, that really sucks! That's why I have a portable hard drive, and back up online. Great six! :)

Ouch. This is why my husband is obsessive about backups. Great humor here!
